Dear Parents and Summer Campers:
We are proud to announce our summer day camp calendar for 2022. The staff has worked hard to design an exciting program that will provide many wonderful memories in the years to come. This letter will highlight the various activities, provide specific information, and list necessary equipment. The calendar is a representation of our summer plans but will change if necessary due to weather conditions and other unforeseeable circumstances. We will keep you informed of any changes or additions using our Parent Board, which is located on your left as you walk into the building, and through email. If you have any questions, please contact me and I will assist you in any way I can.

A major focus of our camp every summer is the philosophy of kids helping kids. We would like our community of children to recognize the impact they can have when they extend themselves to help others in need. All profits from our summer show will go to support our Friends of CCC Scholarship Foundation, which provides childcare scholarships to disadvantaged and homeless children in our program, our Christmas Giving Tree, meal support, crisis assistance, and the spreading of kindness. In addition, every summer each child must commit to a community service project. This summer our community service project is in conjunction with the Lunch 4 Learners program through Food Gatherers, which provides lunches and dinners to those who are in need. Our mission is to decorate approximately 1000 paper lunch bags! We are also planning a community service project to benefit the children and families in Ukraine.

Our summer camp officially ends on August 26, with the starting date for fall being Tuesday, September 6. CCC will be closed on Monday, August 29 – Monday, September 5. Thank you for being a part of our program this summer. This is our 29th anniversary of CCC and we are planning a summer of celebration and delight. We can’t wait for the fun to begin!

Finally, we will provide pizza for lunch on Tuesdays, and a barbecue lunch on Fridays. You will need to provide lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We can’t wait to spend the summer with your kids! We are going to have such a great time!
