VALENTINE’S PARTY!

We will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a dance party at CCC on Friday, February 12. Have the kids dress in Valentine’s colors and their party clothes! You can help us celebrate by bringing 20 signed, unaddressed Valentine cards, and a Valentine snack for around 20 children. If you bring a homemade baked product, please include a note with the ingredients, as we have some kids with specific food restrictions.

Also, on Valentine’s Day there is always a huge semi truck that pulls into the parking lot with all of my Valentines. Be careful pulling in, because the truck may block your entry into the school for a few minutes. It takes them a while to unload all my Valentines.

SHOES AT CCC

Please make sure that your child has shoes to wear at CCC every day. Many of the activities we do in the gym require that the kids have shoes on to do them safely. Their winter boots are often too cumbersome to wear all day, and slippers are not always strong enough support for the games and running. If you have an extra pair of shoes, you could just leave them in their cubby.

BUILDING PROJECT

The last two weeks of February we are planning a construction/building project in the gym. We would like you to save any boxes and paper towel and toilet paper rolls for us to use. All sizes of boxes are great! In addition, if you have any old sheets that we could use to drape the buildings and forts that would be awesome. You can start bringing in the items in beginning on February 8.

PRESIDENTS’ DAY

We will be closed on Monday, February 15 for Presidents’ Day.
